Bargain Hunt: 6 High-Potential Stocks Under ₹100 to Watch Today

The Indian stock market experienced its third consecutive day of declines on Friday, mirroring a global sell-off in technology and auto stocks. The Nifty 50 index dropped 205 points, closing at 25,149 – its lowest level since June 24th, 2025. The BSE Sensex wasn't far behind, shedding 698 points to finish at 82,500, while the Bank Nifty also ended lower by 201 points at 56,754.
Despite the broader market's somber mood, a few stalwarts defied the trend. Hindustan Unilever, SBI Life, and Sun Pharma emerged as the Nifty's top performers, showcasing remarkable resilience. Conversely, TCS, M&M, and Hero MotoCorp bore the brunt of the selling pressure, ending the session as significant losers. Trading volumes on the NSE cash market saw a notable 13% increase compared to the previous day, indicating active participation even amidst the downturn.
The ripple effect of profit booking also hit the Nifty Midcap and Smallcap Indices. The Nifty Midcap 100 Index continued its downward streak for the sixth straight day, declining by 0.9%, while the Nifty Smallcap 100 Index plunged 1.02%. Market breadth was decidedly negative, with declining stocks sharply outnumbering advancing ones. The BSE advance-decline ratio plummeted to 0.63, marking its lowest point since June 19th.
Navigating Today's Market: Expert Perspectives
"US President Donald Trump's statement regarding plans to impose blanket tariffs of 15% or 20% on most trade partners is casting a shadow," noted Siddhartha Khemka, Head of Research — Wealth Management at Motilal Oswal, on the outlook for the Indian stock market. "This lingering uncertainty around trade negotiations is likely to keep markets consolidated. Investors will now be keenly watching key domestic macro data, including CPI and WPI inflation figures, while also tracking ongoing Q1 earnings and updates on the India–US trade deal."
Nifty 50 and Bank Nifty: Key Levels to Watch
Mandar Bhojane, Senior Technical & Derivative Analyst - Research at Choice Equity Broking, provided a technical outlook for the Nifty 50: "The Nifty 50 index has broken below its previous swing low on the daily chart, signaling a short-term corrective phase from higher levels. The price is now approaching a crucial Fibonacci support zone near 25,000. We might see a reversal signal emerge here, given that the broader trend remains bullish. A decisive close above 25,330 could reignite bullish momentum, potentially targeting 25,670–26,000. However, if 25,000 breaks convincingly, the next support lies at 24,750."
Shiju Kuthupalakkal, Senior Manager of Technical Research at Prabhudas Lilladher, weighed in on the Bank Nifty: "The Bank Nifty index saw some erosion in the morning session but later consolidated to close near the 56,750 zone. The bias remains intact, with crucial support positioned near 56,000, which needs to be sustained. To see fresh upward momentum, the index would need to breach the resistance level of 57,600, potentially targeting 58,500 and 60,000 in the coming days."
